Swinging beads

On Lake Eyasi, behind the great crater there lives a tribe that loves beads, just like the Masaai

Those were the years when we were dedicated to tribes. To find new ones, to live with them, to get to learn from them... THOSE MAGICAL YEARS: THE  '80s !

After having left the Fulani in Nigeria, the Nuba in Sudan, all the Ethiopian great tribes from Karo, Bumè, Mursi, Surma, Tzamay, Galeb, Borana and Hammer, we got to know that ... somewhere... deep in the valleys of India ..., there was a tribe of African origin called BONDA. They live in green bushes and come out on market days to trade. Their beautiful dresses...... SWING and TINGLE !
Their body is tan and warm, their eyes smile together with their lips. Bare foot, they travel narrow passeges cut through red ground, leaving traces just like the many antelopes do in the savana.
